Pupil of chess section Benyamin Shahar Amiel - III place in the championship of Israel.
Shahar Amiel, aged 11, has reached an impressive result having finished on III place in the championship of Israel for girls under 11 y.o., that had taken place in Tel Aviv during Hanukka. Shahar was very close to the gold, played draw against the champion and even missed a win. This beatiful achievement gives her the right to participate during Pesah in qualification tournament for the right to represent Israel in world or Europe championship.
Israel has reached second place from 150 countries on the recent chess olimpiad, and the level of junior tournaments in Israel is considered one of the highest in the world!
Goni Mirom, aged 9, has participated in the final of Israel championship and finished with notable result 3.5 points of 6. After 4 rounds he shared 2 place from 42 participants.
